Join us for the 5th Annual Seattle Lower Extremity Surgery Symposium—SLESS offers continuing medical education on surgical techniques for lower extremity trauma and reconstruction. SLESS is a 3-day course, featuring two days of didactic lectures held at the Cedarbrook Lodge, 5 minutes from Seatac airport and one day of cadaveric skills sessions held at nearby St Anne’s Hospital 5 minutes’ drive from the hotel . Learn from a faculty of leading (MD and DPM) lower extremity surgeons.

This very popular course provides surgical exposure and hands-on training in external fixation (including hexapod), total ankle replacement techniques, Charcot Reconstruction, muscle flap techniques and revisional nerve surgery.

At the conclusion of the course, participants will have an understanding of:

  • Deformity correction using hexapod
  • Charcot reconstruction with beaming rods, plating and external fixation
  • TC/TTC fusion techniques with intramedullary nails
