Join IFAF on Kauai, the “Garden Isle” of the Hawaiian Islands! Stay with us on the South Coast at the renowned Grand Hyatt Kauai! This meeting brings together foot and ankle practitioners from around the world and boasts an internationally recognized faculty of MD’s and DPM’s.

Meetings are scheduled Monday-Friday, October 14th to 18th, 7am-1pm

Scientific Objectives of this program:

  1. To be knowledgeable in most of the procedures utilized to address most common foot problems.
  2. To establish understanding of developing concepts in the diagnosis and treatment of foot and ankle conditions.
  3. To review current trends and treatment protocols for nerve, vascular and musculoskeletal conditions affecting the lower extremities.
  4. To be able to describe and demonstrate ways to perfect and refine surgical techniques in foot surgery.

Winter Seminar at Sea—Western Caribbean

RCCL Symphony of the Seas

Chase those winter blues away and Join IFAF on Royal Caribbean's newest and largest ship--The Symphony of the Seas, as we cruise through the fabulous Western Caribbean. We will sail in and out of Miami with stops in Roatan, Honduras, Puerto Costa Maya, MX, Cozumel and also enjoy a day at RCCL's own island resort; Perfect Day at Cococay in the Bahamas.

20 Continuing Education Contact Hours will be scheduled so as not to conflict with port calls.

Scientific Objectives of this program:

  1. To improve diagnostic skills in skin diseases.
  2. To better understand medical conditions affecting the lower extremity.
  3. To review up-to-date alternatives for surgical treatment of forefoot conditions.
  4. To learn differential diagnoses and treatment of injuries to the foot and ankle

Scientific Objectives of this program:

  1. To review diagnostic techniques and reconstructive surgical approaches employed in lower extremity surgery.
  2. To review the classical surgical approaches to forefoot deformities.
  3. To increase understanding of pigmented lesions and proper pathological diagnosis.
  4. To better understand and manage such conditions as lower extremity trauma, dislocations and injuries.
